About

VoterSearch.org was founded on October 31, 2007 in preparation for Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2007.

As of October 17, 2007 there are only 10,223,825 New York State Residents who went to the trouble of Registering to Vote who are still active and able to vote without complication on this Election Day. Unfortunately, 1,021,758 New York State Residents who went to the trouble of Registering to Vote are now "inactive" voters. Which means that when any of these 1,021,758 New York State Residents who Registered to Vote go to the polls on Election Day, they will NOT find their name on the voter roll. Many will be turned away for not being on the voter roll, some will get directed to a different location where their vote might not get counted and still others might feel disenfranchised and give up on voting altogether.

VoterSearch.org hopes to provide a quick, safe and private forum for New York State Residents to verify their voter registration, review the applicable law, and know ahead of time that their name may be one of over a million that will not be on the voter roll this Election Day.

The Voter Registration information that VoterSearch.org provides is only accurate as of the date posted, and any New York State Resident visiting our site is directed to contact your County Board of Elections for official confirmation of your Voter Registration details.

Thank you for visiting VoterSearch.org, now Get Out the Vote!
